Limoncello







Ingredients:

500 ml of pure alcohol
750 ml of water
400 gr sugar 4 / 5 large lemons

Procedure:
Wash the lemons, remove the skin dry and put it in an airtight jar with alcohol. Store in a cool, dry place (pantry) for 1 week.
At this point the alcohol has the color of lemons.


In a saucepan boil water and sugar for 30 minutes, or until it becomes a syrup. Cool well and add the alcohol soaked lemon, mix well and pour into a bottle with a strainer.
Attention keep alcohol away from heat sources!
